The lecture also covers creating responsive layouts without media queries by using the repeat() function combined with auto-fit or auto-fill and the minmax() function.
• CSS Custom Properties (Variables): The instructor introduces CSS variables (custom properties) defined within the :root selector. This approach demonstrates how to centralize color schemes and spacing values, allowing for efficient global updates to a website's theme by modifying just a few lines of code.
• CSS Calc Function: The session explains the utility of the calc() function for dynamic mathematical calculations within CSS.
